Ruination

Poured from a 22 oz. bomber into my Duvel tulip. Just over an inch of creamy white head sits on top a slightly cloudy gold colored body. Strong, dry, citrusy and grassy hop aromas are abounding. Some sweetness shows up but it's mostly lemony hop aromas. This is one bitter beer! They weren't messing around when they rated this beer 100 IBU. Insanely strong citrus hops assault the palate. Definitely Amarillo hops in there. Not too much alcohol presence. The hops are leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. This one is reasonably drinkable but you better love hops. They made no attempt at balance here, just hops. All in all, it's as advertised and a pretty solid offering.
