Roasted pumpkin comes to mind upon the first taste of this imperial pumpkin stout. Very interesting blend of roasty malts, light carbonation and a huge blast of pumpkin that overtakes the finish. Its from the makers of PumKing and you notice a resemblance. Pours a near black with a slight fade of orange when held up to light and I must say...it has me baffled in how good this beer actually is. I can say I've never had anything like it. Comes in at 8.6 abv. Great, great brew.
