I understand what you say, I gave this a 3.5 also but I genuinely think without Mikkeller and some of his crazy brew ideas the modern day craft brewing industry would be a worse place! He has some great beers but also some average ones, my example is his single hop IPA range which showcased each hop on its own, with a mixture of great to average beer the result but the principle was to showcase each on their own right. The downfall was expensive and sometimes average which is not what any of us want. I have stayed away from some of his beers for that reason but there is a whole lot I still want, I'm not a fan of ratebeer but I do use it when looking at a range of his beer. Cheer mate!
