Bridgeport Hop Czar Imperial IPA

Lest you be tempted to think that Bridgeport has merely engaged in marketing hyperbole by calling this brew Hop Czar, let me assure you that it truly lives up to the name. Hops assault your nose as you raise the glass for a sip and then fill every nook and cranny of your mouth. And yet, there is plenty of malt to compensate and the overall effect is a well-balanced beer worthy of the appelation Imperial IPA. There is no lingering unpleasant aftertaste, and I could easily enjoy more than one of these at a sitting. If you're a hard-core hop head, this could be your Holy Grail.
