Dogfish Head Punkin Ale Pumpkin Ale

Poured a deep amber color with a very thin head that quickly disappeared. On the nose I get the cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of pumpkin. The taste is nice and full but not too heavy, and its not dominated by one specific ingredient like I expected. I though it would be more pumpkin-ish but the spices are apparent on the front end and then creeps the pumpkin but still remains pretty subtle. This is a great pumpkin brew for me because while I like pumpkin alright, I don't love it. So this makes for a very drinkable beer for me without having too strong of a pumpkin taste. Bring on Thanksgiving!
