Guinness Foreign Extra Stout

Developed in St. James Gate Dublin over 200 years ago, Guinness Foreign Extra Stout was brewed with extra hops and increased alcohol in preparation for global export. And over 200 years later (in 2010) this trademark beer of St. James Gate finally became available in the USA. Foreign Extra Stout is brewed with generous hops and roasted barley to create a rich, full bodied, full flavored taste with a natural bite that is classic for such a good stout. Guinness Draught is lighter and more watered down than either the Original (Extra Stout) or the Foreign Extra Stout while the Foreign Extra Stout is without doubt the most full bodied and complex tasting of the three. It pours to a beautiful thick and lasting tan head (carbonated with CO2) with complex aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, cherries and burnt barley. It has an ABV of 7.5% (Original has 5%) carbs of 176, and IBU of 65 (Original has 40).
