Samuel Adams Blackberry Witte

Jim Koch of Sam Adams misses very few. They use the finest hops and malts, use no adjuncts and thus craft some of the best beers in the world. But, in both the Cherry Wheat and this Blackberry Wheat they added too much of each fruit for my taste. SA makes a great wheat beer but the blackberry overpowers and the great flavors of the wheat beer malts and additives are lost. For a great balanced Fruit / Wheat beer try Durango Blueberry Wheat - they got the balance right.
