Avery Salvation Belgian Strong Pale Ale

Pours a light gold/honey color and I could smell the fruit notes before I even put my nose to the glass. I think I got an apricot hint from the smell, along with a little pear and bready malt. The taste is very good, the sweetness from apricots, pears, pineapple, and some melon stands out but there is a nice unexpected hop bitterness on the back end. The specif sweetness and bitterness give it really good drinkability as every sip feels complete. The alcohol isn't noticeable at all until the last couple of warmer drinks. And even then its a very very mild warmth from the alcohol. Who knew Salvation tasted so good?
