McKettricks of Texas: Tate

(E-Library, April 2011). The first of a 3-part series with brothers Tate, Garrett, and Austin. This is the better of the 3 novels with Tate breaking his sweetheat, Libby's, heart while he was in college and had a one night stand and got a girl pregnant. He married her and had twins, but divorced her when the kids were infants. Meanwhile Libby, Julie, and Paige's mom returns after leaving her husband and girls when they were young--Libby's father died of cancer when she was in college, so she left college to take care of him. Her mom stays only long enough to disrupt the girl's lives and run a car into Paige's business.
