2007 Von Strasser Cabernet Sauvignon

Bought @ happy wines on 6/12.. open to try on 7/20/12... 85% cabernet sauvignon, 7% malbec, 5% petit verdot, 2% zifindale, 1% merlot ... Wow DELICIOUS... COLOR IS PURPLE .. ALMOST BLACK LIKE ..long legs , wine sticks to glass ... Just coats it...
On the nose Powerful, rich dark blackberry n lots of rustic oak... Like mahogany, opulant but not over powering.. very inviting to taste... After one hour open in glass oak has retreated n dark choclate, mocha, hint of caramel, some spice .. complexity on nose.. very inviting still. First tasted 15 minutes after opening.. lots of wood... Somewhat tight... Silky but not full body... More like medium body.. not creamy but juicy n vibrant velvety.. after one hour.. has open up more.. lots of flavors coming out.. caramel or vanilla, Dark wood flavors, berries red n black ... Some spice, rich , deep fruits, finish is long n lingers... Top wine ... Best one I've tryed in a while... Would like to have another bottle to taste next year or two...
