Rockstar studios takes everything that made GTA IV such a great experience and moves it to the old west. In Red Dead Redemption you play as John Marston, a man trying to escape his past which has now caught up to him and put his family in jeopardy, in order to rescue his family Marston must hunt down his former gang members and bring them to justice. Marston's journey to save his family will take from Texas to Mexico, spending too much time in the latter in my opinion. Anyone who has seen the film Unforgiven will see some similarities in the story, a story that is quite possibly one of the best I've ever had the good fortune to experience, with a finale that tug at the heartstrings of even the toughest man. Just.remember the game isn't over until the credits roll. The multiplayer for RDR is also very solid. Every game mode can be accessed through the free roam arena which is extremely fun BK itself. I highly recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of sandbox games and wants to see a fresh take on the genre.
