It does much more than just URLs (Meta description, XML Sitemaps, Redirection, etc), and it offers lots of options to customize how it does what it does. It hasn't been around for long (only half a year), so some shortage here or there (e.g. doesn't offer the nifty directory structures like phpBB SEO does) is to be expected. Development of this plugin is still going on, as it's Open Source, and features are being added all the time (such as canonical). As author of the Google SEO plugin I think I have to defend it just a little.

It does much more than just URLs (Meta description, XML Sitemaps, Redirection, etc), and it offers lots of options to customize how it does what it does.
