Very interesting to see a British microbrewery's impression of an American Pale Ale in that the Brits must think we over hop all of our pales by default ("it's American, throw in more hops!"). Though I would have classified this an IPA before a pale ale, that shouldn't detract from the grade. Bitter body gives it good kick but slightly slatey at the end. Also very cool that they have an "enjoy by" date on the bottom of the can. They're catching on. And the fact that this brewery is only 1/2 hr up the road is very tempting. Next time...
