Weyerbacher Insanity

Blithering Idiot Barleywine aged in oak barrels. This beer just pours a badass color that lets you know that what you are about to experience is going to be good. Very sweet aroma filled with raisins, caramel and a hint of dried cherries. The taste is very sweet up front with that classic hoppy barleywine finish. The oak really stands out in the aftertaste. This beer clings to your palette and begs you to hold back, but you just can't help taking another sip. At 11.1% this is a definite sipper that will sneak up on you and punch you in the mouth when you least expect it. Great beer! Cheers!
