Timberline Series Billy's Chilies Beer Spice/Herb/Vegetable

I don't normally fruit my beer, but for "chilie" beers I make an exception. My favorite hair of the dog elixer is a Mexican lager or chilies beer topped off with a spicy Bloody Mary mix in a lime juice/beer salt rimmed glass. By itself, Billy's pours a hazed, dirty straw color with quite a bit of carbonation-fed head that quickly dissapates to naught. Fresh(!) aroma from Anaheim, Fresno, Serrano, Jalapeño, and Habanero peppers. The flavor is all chilies over a lightly sweet malt base. Just a hint of pepper-burn lingers on the lips. I find it hard to rate the gimmick beers because among all beers it rates low, but of the chilies beers I've had (3) it is my new favorite.
