Bud Light

Bud Light with an overwhelming 20% of all beer sales, is a grand slam homer for AB. Its closest rivals, Budweiser and Coors Light, are a whopping 15% and billions of dollars behind. What is it with Bud Light?? It's a "drinker's" beer and most people (as shown by the numbers) simply want a beer to drink and not necessarily a flavorable beer to "taste as they drink." For us "tasters" BL can still be a winner - invest $ in AB and then go drink the likes of Sam Adams or Sierra Nevada. Its sales show that it is clearly 5 stars, and maybe so among the lites, but for my preference, it is at best a 1/2 star.
